Well, I’m heading down the final stretch and only have a few days left but I’m still enjoying Argentina. Spent a few days in Mendoza which is the wine capital of the country and met some lovely ladies on a wine tasting tour. We went out for a little tasting of our own as well as some delicious steak.

and, of course, the falls. This was taken from a zodiac type boat that took us right up under the water. It was like being under a fire hose but a pretty good way to cool down in the humidity.
There are so many waterfalls that it took all day to walk to them all. Luckily, the park has a great series of boardwalks, paths and trains to get you around. It was possible to walk around the bottom and over the top as well.

Since May,the software developer CINQ Technologies, is investing in the development of mobile solutions. Just launched the application Iguassu Birds for Iphone, which includes one of the most beautiful brazilian natural resources: The birds of Iguaçu National Park.
The Iguassu Birds is available in portuguese and english, consisting of an illustraded guide of common birds of Iguassu National Park.
In the application is stored 72 different birds, and can be searched by name, cientific name or family name they belong to. Each bird has a descritive text, written by Roberto Boçon, a biologist specialized in birds. The images are authored by Zig Koch, a specialized nature photographer.
Besides individual bird exibition, the Iguassu Birds allow us to display several images on the screen at the same time, with the possibility of zoom to show more detail.
