the PNE parade

The Pacific National Exibition kicks off tomorrow but the opening parade was downtown tonight. A beautiful setting on English bay as the sun set behind us and lots of floats, giant balloons, local celebs, bands, horses and dancing troups...my favorite was the 100 or so Elvis impersonator kids...lord all mighty!

Back in Canada

I'm back in Vancouver for the rest of the summer and loving the great weather. Spent the last few days in the great outdoors where Canada is at its best.

Went hiking at Golden Ears park. Had fun climbing on all the rocks and wading in the glacier fed stream.
