Bowen Island

Took the twenty minute ferry ride over to Bowen Island today. $10 for the ferry and $12 to park. We trekked up the highway to see the different parts of town and met up with a family of deer on a side road. They let us get really close and hang out with them. I guess they were used to us tourists.

Lots of nice paths to walk through the forest and presumably meet more of the local fauna. Stayed for a nice lunch and back on the ferry. If you don't care much about decor, I would recommend Snug's near the ferry for it's yummy food.









Been hanging out with the nieces. Asia had her first day of Kindergarden and gymnastics class and is all raring to go. Emerson is pretty blase about the whole grade four thing.
